| * Wednesday, March 19, 2008 * Miss Crescendra Tan writing: Hi guys, how's life? Like your new timetable? Thought I post something to get the ball rolling. Have a little verse to share with all of you. It's the last stanza from one of my favourite poems, "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost. Here goes: Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. Well it's not THAT hard to understand, really. Simply means that sometimes we should take the more challenging road instead of the easy way out. Even though the one that's "less travelled" has got more challenges and obstacles in store for us, at the end of it all, we learn something and grow as a person. So this term as assignments pile up, I just like to say one thing. And that is, take these challenges in your stride. Don't weave in and out and try to avoid them, or take the easy way out because if you persist and hang in there, at the end of it, you would realise that your hard work make "all the difference". Hang in there... and keep this blog alive!! P.S - by the way, you can link my other class too, your neighbour 1e4 (http://www.its--1e4-ians.blogspot.com/). |
